For as much as we love all things fall, the shuttering of patio season is a steep price to pay. But Sapphire Creek Winery & Gardens’ all-season patio means we can enjoy alfresco vibes without bundling up.
“You expect patio season in Cleveland to come to a crushing end,” says owner Kathleen Dangelo. “But we can extend it all the way past Christmas.” Surrounded by a forest of oak and beech trees, the raised deck features retractable screens on three sides, overhead radiant heating and a cozy fireplace.
While the space (which blends inside and outside as seamlessly as the rest of the rustic Chagrin Falls winery) is great for events, it’s also a sure bet for lazy Sunday lunches or date-night dinners.
“Sitting out there with one of our great red wines and our cheese fondue appetizer in such a fabulous setting — I can’t imagine a better date night,” Dangelo says.
